I was shopping at the nearby mall after work this afternoon. I bought what was lacking in the house such as cooking vegetable oil, soy sauce, vinegar and glazed pili nuts for my snack going home. I thought of buying this nuts because my friend told me that her boss bought pili nuts as presents for her when she was in the Philippines for business trip. We were talking how yummy pili nuts were and how we missed this nuts. I bought 1 pack of pili of nuts just to satisfy my cravings. The prices was quite expensive but I like the taste because it was specially made of glazed with extra fine caramel releasing a toothy sweet crunch in every munch.

I got goodies from my friend who had vacation in Singapore last week. They spent 5 days holiday together with her husband, sister and niece. She texted me yesterday that she was already in Davao and that she wanted to give it to me my presents from Arlene and her. She gave me Danish cookies with different shapes, chocolate puffs, fish crackers and marina bay sands print fan. I was happy to received some gifts from her that I never expected. Thanks my friend for the food gifts. This would be my snack food at work.

My mother’s birthday is fast approaching and my sister is thinking of gifting her a necklace jewelry. My mom likes necklace so we thought of surprising her a gift on her birthday and at the same time mother’s day occasion. I already searched for discount online jewelry so that we could buy it ahead before her birthday and we decided to divide the bill into 4 because the necklace is quite pricey. To make it affordable for the siblings, each of us would share cash so that we could buy the gift that my mom wanted for herself so much.

Halo-halo Treat

We had lunch together with Michelle and Eunice in our clinic office. We just ordered take out food from canteen. After our lunch, Michelle thought of eating halo-halo for our dessert at Merco Restaurant near our office. I wash the dishes first before we headed to the restaurant. We ordered special halo-halo with ube ice cream to refresh ourselves. While eating, we saw Honney came in, she was sitting in the corner far from us. We called her and sat with us waiting for her order to be served. Michelle ordered her a halo-halo too and a take out for Meriam. We had a nice chat and a lovely dessert perfect for hot summer time. Thanks Chelle for a refreshing treat, we really appreciate it.

Patio Tables

My mother’s birthday is fast approaching including my brother. They will celebrate their birthday together on the 12th and 13th day of may. It will be a triple celebration because it is also our village fiesta on the 13th and it’s the birthday of my brother. Our family is planning to throw a party in our backyard and we are considering of buying some patio tables and chairs for our invited relatives, neighbors and friends. We already have plastic tables and chairs in our stockroom but we need to add more tables for the big celebration. We already discussed what food to be served as most of the visitors are vegetarian. I am looking forward for this big celebration and our way of thanking the Lord for a great blessings that He had showered on us.

My friend at work visited me in the clinic after lunch. She wants to relax in my office as its quite and wanted to talk about the coming of her relatives from Canada. They stayed in her house and brought some balikbayan boxes as presents to them and her relatives. She showed me the bag that was given to her by her cousin, the brand was michael korrs. Her son was given a laptop and canadian dollars. She showed me the two hundred notes of canadian dollars. One was one hundred dollar note and the other one was fifty dollar note. I took a chance to take a picture of canadian dollars as I was curious of their money. The fifty dollar note has similarity with our philippine money which was color red. My brother is health conscious with his body and loves to work out in the gym 3 days a week. His muscles are toned and he likes to maintain it to keep him strong and fit. He takes vitamins and eat healthy foods to keep him healthy. He would also join fun run that was sponsored by their hospital. A friend of him introduced a syntheroid supplement to be part of his routine exercise in the gym because it is a testosterone booster that would help in toning his body muscles. He is still thinking of taking it as he wants to know how effective is syntheroid? His friend is taking it as his supplement for a month now and he is still thinking if it works and effective for him as well.

Flowery Sandals For My Friend

I already bought a pair of brown and gold flowery grendha sandals that my friend Arlene requested me. My friend Rochelle reminded me on text messages last week if I bought it already because she will hand carry the sandals going to Singapore as our present for Arlene. I have this pair of sandals too when I showed her on cam and she was pleased with the color which is a combination of brown, gold with a flower design. Her foot size is 7″ and the sandals is made in Brazil. Rochelle would also buy food delicacies for her too. I’m sure she will be delighted with our presents for her as we bought the things that she really like.

Boot Dryers

Winter has just passed, and spring weather has just come but I still need boot dryers for my boots as I sometimes wear them once in a while. I still feel cold outside at work and I need them for dying my boots as its time to wash my boots now to keep them clean, dry and odor free. It dries up easily and I want them to place in my shoe shelves so that my room would be cluttered free.

This week, I bought a new mobile for my loading business. The battery of my mobile that I was using for my smart loading business was already damaged and I couldn’t buy a new battery replacement on it as it was 2006 model. Its hard to find this kind of battery this time now as technology changed every month. I decided to buy a local brand which was my phone with dual sim cards. I was surprised because the price was less than one thousand pesos. I am using it now as my smart and sun loading business. I like the phone so much because it has many features such as radio, camera, very affordable and most of all it is dual sim cards.
