White Nail Polish

Last saturday, I planned to change my pedicure as it was chip off already but I was feeling lazy. I wanted to have my dental prophylaxis as well for my teeth cleaning but I postponed it again. My plan is to have my pedicure today as I have more time because of the holiday that we are celebrating right now. Last week, my friend suggested me to try white polish for a change as he said it would match my skin tone and it looks good at night. I took his advice and change the colour from red polish to longer nail white polish now. I love it, it looks so elegant and fabulous. Voila (”,)

An Overseas Call From A Friend

I was happy to received call from my friend in Singapore. It has been a week that I haven’t talk to her on phone and chat. I was glad she phoned me as I missed talking to her already. The reason why she wasn’t online was because her left eye had infected by dust from their neighbour’s house renovation. She consulted an opthalmologist to check her infected eye because it sore and had itchy feeling. Her doctor had prescription of antibacterial eye drops and nothing serious on her left eye. Now she was a bit relieved when taking eye medication drops and still recuperating it. I was glad to hear from her again after a week that we haven’t had an update. (”,)

My friend Minda had been in a goldsmith business for a long time. Her husband was the one handling their business and they got jewelry making supplies from Manila and abroad. They specialized in made to order wedding and engagement rings. While Minda sell jewelry for instalment basis in our office that she bought from abroad. What I got from her was white gold necklace with heart diamond pendant that I love using everyday. I paid it through instalment plan because I can’t afford to pay in cash. Now it has been fully paid and I am looking forward to get for an earrings set that would match to my necklace.

This morning while I was at work, I was watching Miss Universe 2010 pageant that was telecast live at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas Nevada. The top ten finalists were from Miss Ireland, Albania, Philippines, Jamaica, Mexico, Ukraine, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Guatemala and Australia. Other winners on Miss Congeniality Universe Award was from Australia, Miss Photogenic Universe Award was from Ireland and for the best national costume was from Miss Thailand. Afterwards, were the most awaited top 5 finalists, the most gorgeous women in the world from Mexico, Australia, Jamaica, Ukraine and Philippines. I was so happy that she was chosen on the top 5 finalists. Then following the question and answer portion, how they answer would determine on who would become Miss Universe 2010. Fourth runner-up was Miss Philippines, third runner-up was Miss Ukraine, second runner-up was Miss Australia, first runner-up was Miss Jamaica and crowned as Miss Universe 2010 was Miss Mexico. Congratulations Miss Mexico and my beloved country Miss Philippines.

I was happy to read text messages on my mobile that was sent to me by my cousin saying his son 3s has passed the physician board examination that was held last August 7, 8, 14 and 15 of this year. The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 1,597 out of 2,300 passed the Physician Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medicine in Manila on August 2010. I am happy to hear news and proud of him for passing the examination. Wow another family doctor who will serve the sick people in the future. His hard work really paid off and I am happy he proved it to his parents. Congratulations 3s and wishing you all the best on your achievements.

I was nervous because someone was calling on my mobile but when I opened, it was my sister in Qatar who phoned me. I was so happy to hear from her as it was 2 days that I haven’t talked to her on chat. I was worried why she wasn’t online, I thought she was very busy at work but the reason was her laptop had infected with virus. She couldn’t open her yahoo and everything on the internet. Good thing she had room mate who knows how to treat virus and reformatted her laptop. She said I will talk to her on chat hopefully after a couple of days or as soon as her laptop would be treated. We’ve talked so many things for about 25 minutes on the phone updating her life in Qatar. I was so happy to hear from her again as I missed her so much.

Buying a family car is a major decision since I have growing family to consider to suit my expanding needs with car insurance for my protection and safety. There are wide variety of vehicles available this days. My dream car is not that expensive but its elegant and affordable now a days. I like to buy Toyota Vios 1.3 liters, the red colour attracted me because it is very feminine and sophisticated with my personality. With the help of my sister to sustain the payment until I completed the loan would be a big help in steering my wheels.

BIR Obligation

Today is the payment of our withholding tax for medical tower rental at Bureau of Internal Revenue. I requested my friend Joyce to let her pay for our monthly payment. Thank God I didn’t forget the due date as I set my alarm clock to remind me of our obligation. I paid for the month of July and I will look forward to the next payment so I could pay it just in time without forgetting the due date. This is my accomplishment for today’s itinerary.

Dinner Treat

My cousin texted me that she wants to visit me in the office. I waited for her to come but she didn’t showed up. When I got off from work this afternoon, she texted and invited me to have a drink with Grace. I said yes and we agreed to meet at mercury drug store at 7pm. Then we proceed to the bar seated wondering what to order and decided to have dinner at Nanay Bebeng’s, an authentic filipino restaurant. A buffet dining was served to us from main course, salad bar, appetizers, fresh fruits and bottomless juice drink. We enjoyed delicious food and chatting of so many unending stories that need to be discuss in ourselves. Thanks for the lovely dinner and goodnight.
