Remembering A Great Uncle

Today is the birthday of my great uncle who had passed away last year. If he was alive he would have been 80 years old now. But life has an end though we know there is life after death. My boss and his wife offered a requiem mass, also known as mass for the dead for remembering their father’s 80th birthday. The three of us heard mass at St. Jude Thaddeus Church at 12 noon. After the mass we took our lunch at Mandarin Tea Garden restaurant nearby together with the two friends of them that they have met in the church. I’m sure he would be smiling up above in heaven because the thought of remembering him on his birthday would be a worthy one.
