Today is sunday, it’s the day I don’t have to get up early. But this day I have to get up because I have to attend the 42nd annual general assembly of sta. multipurpose cooperative. Being a member it’s a must to attend the assembly because there is fine if I can’t attend the said assembly.
Cooperatives are built on the principle that in helping each other, we help ourselves. A concept founded on the inherent Filipino virtue of “bayanihan”. This principle of shared efforts and endeavors as well as shared triumphs has empowered even the most ordinary citizens like me to take up the challenge of nation building. The assembly started with holy mass, programs, free snacks, business assembly, approval of the assembly, door prizes and a raffle ticket. It was fun, though I was a bit tired because I’m not used to waking up early. I hope I would win the raffle this time. To all Samulco officers and members, happy 42nd annual general assembly.
